Are you a teacher? If so, you can sign up for a teacher training course run by the 22 July Centre and the Wergeland Centre on how to teach about the 22 July 2011 terror attack.

Students will learn about 22 July, extremism, and terrorism within the cross-curricular theme of "democracy and citizenship." But how should we teach this, and what should be included? This course aims to provide some answers.

After the course, we will host a witness conversation with two survivors of the Utøya attack. The course will also explore how you, as a teacher, can use personal stories as part of your teaching.

When: Tuesday 21 January, 16:30–17:45 (pizza served from 16:00)
Where: Tromsø Library

The course has 25 places and requires registration.
